I am thrilled to reveal our first custom fingerprint digital painting! Yes, this painting is completely made up of the client's family's fingerprints! Our client needed a 11"x14" wall-art piece. She needed a piece that would complete a grouping of quite large abstract paintings and pieces of her children's original artwork. Since she had already incorporated her family on this wall, it sparked an idea. How cool would it be to take the family's fingerprints and make an abstract painting?! It took some trial and error and a lot of RAM on my computer to marry these two concepts. But, I'm IN LOVE with the end result!! The final product was printed on canvas with 3/4" light wood standout. Though I will update this post when I get a photo of it hung happily in place at the client's home, I just simply couldn't wait to share!
